The Dragonriders Of Pern series.

These books explore so many facets of fantasy mixed with just enough “fact” to make them seem possible and practical. I’ve enjoyed reading this series over and over through the stages of my life. I started this series when I was a teenager and today am a grandmother and I still re-read each book.
